Testing Standards
How we confirm what a sample is, how pure it is, and how we report it.
Identity Confirmation
Liquid or gas chromatography with mass spectrometry (LC-MS or GC-MS) confirms the molecular identity of each sample by comparing its measured mass and fragmentation to the expected profile.
If a sample does not match what it was submitted as, the report says so and includes what was detected where possible.
Purity Analysis
High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) measures the purity of the sample and separates it from impurities.
The report includes the purity result and the chromatogram, so you can see the data behind the number.
Accredited Testing
Testing is performed with laboratory partners accredited to ISO/IEC 17025, the international standard for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories.
Methods and instruments are recorded for every sample, so each result can be traced back to how it was produced.
Certificates of Analysis
Every sample receives a Certificate of Analysis with the sample ID, date received, date of analysis, methods, instruments and results.
Reports are delivered to the client account that submitted the sample. We do not share results with anyone else without the client's permission.
Sample Handling
Each sample is logged on arrival and given a unique sample ID that stays with it through testing and reporting.
Clients receive status updates when the sample is received, when testing is complete, and when the report is ready.
